Pet Shop Boys have just released their new studio album 'Electric' this week! 'Electric' is the ironic duo's twelfth studio album and it's released on their own x2 label distributed by Kobalt Label Services. It's available as a download as well as on cd and vinyl: http://www.petshopboysshop.co.uk/
PSB wanted to make a dance record this time out (as opposed to last year's rather somber 'Elysium') so they enlisted Stuart Price to produce. Early reviews have been extremely positive and going by the first two days sales the NME has reported that it's currently set to debut in the Top 3 in the U.K. - possibly even at number one!
'Love Is A Bourgeois Construct' is one of 'Electric's standout tracks - like most of the songs on the album it has an uplifting feel to it. Despite being more of a club record thankfully there are still a number of songs featuring their always clever lyrics - only the Pet Shop Boys could write a song about love using words like 'riffraff' and 'penal code'...
