SummersRadio™ New Music! Ladytron - 'White Elephant' Liverpool's Ladytron are set to release their fifth studio album on Sept. 12th! The album is called 'Gravity The Seducer' and while there's no word yet on whether or not this is an official single (my guess is no - as it's pretty mellow and not quite as hooky as most of their singles generally are) - the first new unedited track from the album has just surfaced online today! This is 'White Elephant'... Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ New Remix Compilation! Ladytron - 'Seventeen' (Soulwax Mix) I first mentioned Ladytron's upcoming best of compilation called 'Best Of 00-10' back in October when I posted their new single 'Ace Of Hz'. The Best Of compilation comes out on March 28th - but the band has also decided to release a 'Best Of Remixes' compilation - which is out tomorrow! 

The 'Best Of Remixes' will be available only digitally and will contain 17 tracks. All of them have been previously released - so if you're a big time Ladytron fan like myself you may already have a lot of them, but if not this is an excellent collection of remixes. This is the Soulwax Mix of 'Seventeen' which was first released on the cd single in 2002 - where Ladytron rock out with full on guitars... Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ New Remix! Ladytron - 'Ace Of Hz' (Punks Jump Up Remix) I first featured Ladytron's new single 'Ace Of Hz' way back in October when it was first released as part of the FIFA 11 soundtrack. Now it's just been released as an official single with 5 new remixes online today! This is my favorite remix of the lot - by London's Punks Jump Up - it starts out with some housey xylophone/ steel drum type sounds but gradually morphs into this disco/ techno hybrid with some cowbell along for the ride... Enjoy!

Ladytron - 'Ghosts' No doubt this track - originally from 2008's 'Velocifero' - will be featured on Ladytron's forthcoming best of compilation entitled 'Ladytron: 00 - 10'. The release date is still tbc but it will also feature two new tracks including 'Ace Of Hz' posted below. If you're heading down to Fortune Sound Club tonight to catch their dj set I suggest going early as they start at 11pm!
