Firstly, allow me to explain the bit above - for the past year I've been taking care of a friend's cat - and today is her birthday - Happy 19th Nico! She likes to hang out on the desk sometimes and although I try and keep her off of the keyboard she tends to do what she wants anyway (as cats will do). So she typed that bit above and since it's her birthday I'm leaving it in there! Cheers Nico - thanks for your contribution!

Aniello Federico aka Hollen is a dj/ producer from Naples, Italy who's just released a new EP called 'Doraemon'! The three track EP features the original mix of the title track as well as a remix from Tony Dee, and a song called 'Right Way'. It's released on the Agile Encodings label and it's available on both itunes and Beatport - it's cheaper on itunes - $3.87 vs $5.97 (Cdn) :)

Let's start with the 'Tony Dee Remix' of the title track - what's particularly cool about this one are the trippy spoken word vocals. I've listened to it several times and I haven't been able to make out much more beyond something about dripping taps and nature! That's the beauty of it though - the more you listen to it the more there is to discover... Enjoy!



'Right Way' is the third song on the EP and while I'll only post edited versions if that's all that's available, I generally use a minimum of three minutes as the rule - and although this is a bit shorter I still think you get a good feel of the song here.

Like 'Doraemon', 'Right Way' features ominous vocals and a nice keyboard bit that sounds like a full on air invasion... Enjoy!
