SummersRadio™ 3 Year Anniversary! New Music! Cut Copy - 'Take Me Higher'

SummersRadio™ is celebrating it's three year anniversary online today - hooray!!! Our first official post online was on Oct. 24th, 2010 featuring Digitalism - and here we are over 1,200 posts later with new music from Cut Copy. SummersRadio™  - where 'There's always something magic, there's always something new'.

                             

Cut Copy begin their new world tour this weekend that will see them playing in Toronto on Nov. 15th at the Danforth Music Hall and in London (U.K.) Nov. 26th at Oval Space.

'Take Me Higher' is the fourth new song that the band have posted online from their forthcoming fourth album 'Free Your Mind', which is out on Modular Records Nov. 4th (U.K)/ 5th (North America). Like the first two singles - 'Let Me Show You Love' and the album's title track - 'Take Me Higher' is filled with feel good vibes... Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ New Remix + Free Download! Cut Copy - 'Free Your Mind' (Spiritualized Version)

Cut Copy have made one of the remixes of their current single 'Free Your Mind' available as a free download today! Now I realize that I just posted the 'Fort Romeau Remix' of 'Free Your Mind' last week, but this remix is completely different - it's more like a cover - and as a bonus it's available as a free download for a limited time from The Guardian newspaper in the U.K. here: http://vitalartists.com/widgets/cutcopyremix/test.php

                    

It's been some years since Spiritualized have remixed anything - if I'm not mistaken the last time was for Yoko Ono's remix album 'Yes, I'm A Witch' in 2007. Jason Pierce transforms the dance tune into a beautiful piece of atmospheric psychedelia worlds away from the original... Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ New Remix! Cut Copy - 'Free Your Mind' (Fort Romeau Remix)

Cut Copy have released a new remix of their latest single 'Free Your Mind' online! 'Free Your Mind' is the latest single and title track from their forthcoming fourth album which is released on November 5th on Modular Recordings. The 'Free Your Mind (Remixes)' EP is released Oct. 14th (U.K.)/ 15th (North America).

SummersRadio™ New Music! Cut Copy - 'Free Your Mind'

Cut Copy have just released their new single 'Free Your Mind' online! 'Free Your Mind' is the title track from the Melbourne band's forthcoming fourth album which is due for release November 5th on Modular Recordings.

                   

'Free Your Mind' is the second single from the album following July's 'Let Me Show You Love': http://summersradio.blogspot.co.uk/2013/07/summersradio-new-music-cut-copy.html

It says on the Modular website that the band was going for a 'Summer Of Love' vibe on this album - paying tribute to both 1967 and 1988/89. The title track sounds more like the latter - with positive lyrics and a club feel reminiscent of The Beloved and Happy Mondays... Enjoy!
