SummersRadio™ New Music! Gregor Tresher - 'Relevance'/ 'Secura'
Germany's Gregor Tresher has released a smashing new EP called 'System X'! The EP features four original tracks and it's released on Drumcode. It's currently available exclusively on Beatport: http://www.beatport.com/#release/system-x-ep/1014273
It's been quite a challenge deciding which of the four songs to feature from the EP - they all sound amazing. I believe that the first track 'Relevance' if my favourite thus far - the production is resplendent! (I had to do a new search to find a word that felt worthy enough to describe it) :) There are so many layers of sound that just all fly together perfectly as one... Enjoy!
The 'System X' EP is too good to feature just one song - so I reckon right now that 'Secura' is my second favourite song thus far. If it were a movie - around the 1 minute mark with the hi-hat it blossoms into 3-D sound or like when the 'Wizard of Oz' changes from black and white into colour... Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ New Music + Free Download! Booka Shade - 'Haleshop'
Booka Shade are releasing a new limited edition EP called 'Haleshop' on Monday! The full EP will only be available as a limited edition hand stamped white label vinyl on January 14th. The EP features three brand new tracks - the title track and the songs 'Chateau Rouge' and 'Karrera'. The German duo will also be playing a number of live dates in Europe in February and March to showcase new material from their forthcoming new album - the follow up to 2010's 'More!'. They also plan on touring North America in support of the album as well!

SummersRadio™ New Remix! Guy Gerber - 'Timing' (Kollektiv Turmstrasse Remix) First of all my apologies for the lack of posts this week - Blogger has been in 'read only' mode for most of the week for some reason - but we're back now! Cocoon Recordings is a techno label that was started by Sven Vath in 2000 in Frankfurt Germany. They've just released a new compilation called '11 Years Of Cocoon Recordings: Selected Remix Works'. It contains 13 unmixed tracks as well as a continuous mix from Patrick Kunkel. This is one of two remixes of Guy Gerber's track 'Timing' that appears on the compilation - this one is by the Hamburg duo Kollektiv Turmstrasse... Enjoy!

SummersRadio™ Classic Remix! Jam & Spoon - 'Stella 99' (Wackside Tweaker Remix) The breathy vocals of Cari Golden on the Booka Shade remix of Pan-Pot's 'Captain My Captain' that I posted yesterday reminded me of Jam & Spoon's classic track 'Stella'. This in turn reminded me of this great remix that came out in 1999!
Jam & Spoon were a duo from Frankfurt Germany - 'Stella' was their first hit single (released in 1992) and is considered to be a techno and trance classic. Although it's been remixed many times, the best collection of remixes came out in 1999 in the form of 'Stella 1999 - 1992: How Stella Got Her Groove Back' - which contained the original version plus six new remixes - spread across a two part cd single and on a three part 12" vinyl set. This standout French disco house remix is from Wackside - a trio that also hails from Frankfurt... Enjoy!
